How to Get Started with Our Clinic
If you’re thinking about visiting the Dental Clinic of Northern Shenandoah Valley, then our team is ready to accept you and your loved ones with open arms. To make sure your first experience with us is a positive one, you’ll find everything you need to know ahead of time below. What to Expect
To make the check-in process fast and seamless, we ask that you please bring the following (if possible):
- Photo ID
- Proof of Residency
- Proof of Income
- Membership card for insurance
Once you have been checked in, you’ll be escorted to a treatment room where you’ll have a chance to speak with a dentist. After giving you an exam, they’ll recommend any additional treatment you might need, and time permitting, they may be able to complete it at the same visit.

State Dental Plans Accepted
The DCNSV is a participating provider with multiple state-sponsored insurance plans, such as Medicaid and Dentaquest. We also work with FAMIS, FAMIS Plus, the Smiles for Children program, as well as qualifying uninsured adults in need of dental services. Our team is ready to answer your insurance questions, and we’ll be happy to file your claim for you to guarantee that you’re able to get what you need in a timely manner.
Payment Methods
Our practice is able to accept both cash and checks. We ask that you be prepared to pay at the time of service, and if you have any questions beforehand about cost, we welcome you to give us a call. We’ll make sure you know exactly what to expect before you come to see us so there are no unpleasant surprises.
